Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

 

If you hold an unexpired First Responder, Wilderness First Responder or OFA-3, join our Upgrade to Emergency Medical Responder program. This is 60 hours of intense training from experienced paramedics, in a supportive environment where your personal experiences and goals are taken seriously.

Upgrade to EMR will prepare you for a career with the provincial ambulance service, your local fire department, or one of the many other high-demand jobs in BC that rely on EMRs to provide exemplary pre-hospital emergency care.

This course meets or exceeds the requirements of all provincial and federal certifying and regulatory organizations.

Course Registration

Select your dates to register for EMR Upgrade in Vancouver or Squamish.

Use the code EMR50 at checkout to register with a 50% deposit.

The balance is due on your first scheduled day of training.

Course Schedule

Part Time (3 Weekends)

Friday 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Saturday + Sunday 9 AM - 6 PM

Full Time (8 Weekdays)

Week 1: Wednesday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
