Specialized Courses

At Coast Wilderness Medical, our mission statement is to provide students with the very best first aid training they need for the lifestyle they love to live. That’s why, in 2021, we asked select trainers and athletes to work Coast’s finest instructors to develop specialized training courses that deliver context-specific first aid, rescue and preparation, and tons of hands-on skills practice with a group of like-minded people. We have had wonderful feedback on our first two courses - focused on rock climbing and trail running - and are very excited for our first ski touring course in December!

Check the specialized training opportunities below, and contact us if there is a course you’d like to see - or if you are an industry leader who is interested in partnering with Coast on this exciting initiative!

Note: These courses are only scheduled a few times a year, when schedules, availability and weather coincide. If the course you are interested in is not currently scheduled, use the contact link to be notified when new dates are available.
